Bikers for BARC Poker Run June 11. 2011...Must do event!!!

This could easily be our June Meet and Greet and Ride event!! All proceeds go to the Baldwin County Humane Society for dog rescues and adoptions. Starts at H&D Cycles in Lillian....goes to Chrome Horse Pub in Silver Hill...then on to Aurora's in Fairhope......then the Tin Top restaurant in Bon Secour.....down to Cosmos in Orange Beach...with the final stop and party at Cobalt's in Orange beach....all super places and each one is a diehard animal supporter of BARC (Baldwin Animal Rescue Center). Each stop will also have adoptable animals for your petting pleasure! Only $10 for the run.....super prizes at the end, many door prizes, and a dinner buffet right on the water front at Cobalts. All proceeds go to the Humane Society!!! If you can't make the ride....drive whatever you want (cars, boats, whatever!!!) to Cobalts and you can still enter to win and enjoy the party.

That sounds wonderful. I will be off my bike at that time but may drive down to Cobalts.

I am adding this to my calendar hopefully I can make it!

This is a gonna be a big !! And well worth the effort.

Hopefully I will have my new bike by then and not have to work. If so I'll be there for sure.

All vehicles welcome. Just come on down to the end point, Cobalts in OB....fork out $10 and a can or bag or can of pet food and you can draw a poker hand for the grand prize, have a buffet dinner and enjoy the party.

Just a reminder. I am counting on all of you to show up for this event. Great cause and should be the premier poker run of the year. If you cant make the run, your foot hurts, bike won't start, etc....no matter...drive on down to Cobalts by about 3:30pm and join in anyway. Everyone is welcome. The buffet is only $10 a plate with all proceeds going to BARC (Baldwin Area Rescue Center). Additionally, you can buy a poker hand for $15 if you want and buy into the many door prises and stuff.

I hope you all can make this. It should be a big turn out. They even had an article in the Mobile Register about it and an interview on fox 1o TV the other day. Cmon down and support this one and have a great time.

I will be in Prattvile. Won't be able to make this one.

Will try but can't promise. We are packing to leave out sunday to go out of town for a week.

Way too much negativity here....nothing personal...but if ya cant make it ya cant make it....no need to tell every one....where are all the others with the "hell yea!! i will be there!!!!" attitude??

Well, sorry. Most people would like to hear a maybe or a no rather than silence when they make an event thread or any other kind of thread for that matter. But then again, that could just be me and my confimedness of bein an attention HO.

great event and very well organized.... i didn't make the whole circuit, but did run into a few of our members. Jmunsey, you guys did great and I look forward to the next one.
