I'm done & home

Torn medial meniscus in my left knee. Surgery Tues morning. 1st week, take it real easy and the crutches will be gone. 2nd week, slowly increase normal activities. I take this to mean ride my bike! 3rd week, almost back to normal. (I anticipate this will be when I have my shoulder surgery )

With your luck you may want to stay away from that bike. LOL Glad its not too serious. And many prayers for a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the well wishes fellas! No PT required after this. I think because I work out regularly anyway. Hayweed, given the chance, I'm going to be on my bike as soon as I can and for as long as i can. That shoulder surgery will be anytime now...

Thanks guys. I'm more bothered by the general anesthesia than the actual proceedure. I wanna ride soooooo bad, I'd gladly ride b*tch at this point!!!!

Why Yes it does. The wife felt like she needed to buy me that when I purchased my Roadking.

And I can't get her to go riding with me. Riding just does not interest her.

As a recipient of countless surgeries to both kness the orthoscopic stuff ain't bad, just do as they ask and you should be ok.

The knee is going to be the "easy" one of the bunch. My shoulder (rotator cuff) is next. At some point I have to have back surgery to deal with a bone spur impinging on my spinal column.

Getting old ain't for sissies....
