I cant help it - I gotta share this!
I applied for a regional trainer position with my current employer (Brinks Armored Car). I got word this evening I got the job! I will be working out of New Orleans after I finish 6 weeks of traveling and training. HUGE pay increase.

Just excited!!!! Wanted to share...

Now that was funny.

Congrats Amish. I myself am in the process of changing jobs. Not necessarily for more money but for control over my time and schedule. The economy is slowly improving because I am seeing a lot of people making moves. Let's hope it holds.

Thanks everyone!
I will have an office in New Orleans, but its 50% travel in the region. I will be responsible for all the training in the company for the Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Biloxi, Jackson MS, Mobile, and Pensacola offices. I will have 2 trainers I supervise and report directly to corporate. In fact - I am now considered "corporate" myself - hahaha.
I work for Brinks Armored Car Service - so I have to spend the next 6 weeks traveling the US getting my training certifications. Firearms, OSHA, defensive driving, ATMs, etc..
Got my new salary info - VERY VERY happy Smile
After I get back from the training tour - I am buying a new car. I have only ever had 1 new car my whole life - this will be number 2. haha.
Dodge Challenger baby!!!! Cant wait.

I travel through New Orleans weekly. In the better (warmer) weather, I am usually on my Roadking. The drivers there are definitely a different breed!!!
