favorite vintage Honda
after a great trip to barbers , and seeing so many nice old bikes of all kinds, i tried to narrow down my favorite old honda, i guess it would be the 79 cbx, just the sound of that engine with a 6 into 1 header has always give me goose bumps,,especially, when it gets up on the pipe
a true classic , so lets here from yall
whats your favorite old Honda

I think it is no secret that I love the single overhead cam cb550 fours...they have always been super reliable for me and have provided me with a lifetime of riding pleasure and fond memories!

First bike was a 69 CB125. Never really got to ride it but the motor went in my 72 sl125 and I got to ride that a little. I have a lot of love for them. I did a lot of work on those 125s as a kid.

My brother and I had the CL100's after we outgrew the honda minitrails and our very first bike was a briggs mini bike.
Re: favorite vintage Honda
That is a tough question. Since I've built one and am assembling the parts to build another, it seems like it'd have to be the sohc cb750. I'm a fan of the cbx's as well, but what a nightmare to work on a bank of six carbs! I think my current fave (aside from Dolores) is the VF1000R. A big cruise missile with some of my favorite fairings and a wicked cool 80's paint scheme.

i missed a vf1000r a couple of years ago, it was in the collection of the guy
that owned. WOW MOTORCYCLES in marrieta, ga. it had 15,000 miles on it and the plastic and paint on the bike was perfect, they wanted 2800.oo for it
my alternator went out on my goldwing and i just could not swing it,
i'm sure that was my chance , but maybe another will come along....
i seen Delores AT barbers but no Deviant, MAYBE next year

Dude I didn't know you were there! She was parked along the road most of the time. 2800?!?! Insane deal. They're pretty scarce.

If you saw Delores, you may have seen Caroline too, she was parked close by at all times, but she does not stand out quite as much as the full figured custom that Delores is!
